Knowledgable sales staff is nice at times
For someone wanting to look at a Mac it's not a bad idea to have
a salesperson who knows a bit about them. A consumer would
have a chance to get an informed demo, have their questions
answered correctly, etc. As with any other purchase of a
noticeable amount of money the consumer is free to comparison
shop in other stores - and maybe get an informed salesperson
at the other stores. I've worked with an Apple rep at the local
CompUSA store and found him both well informed and definitely
not a pressure salesman. To bad every consumer hasn't had
that quality of support when considering their computer
purchases.
