Ease of use IS an opinion, as are almost all your points
If you are going to beat the guy up about his "opinions", then you need to back off with yours. In MY opinion, he's right about the FACT that OSX crashes, in my experience, more often than my PC does. I'm sure that over the larger user base, that FACT becomes less true, but in MY experience, it is absolutely 100% true. I am not saying OSX is less stable than Windows XP, I am saying that when I use it, OSX is less stable than XP. That's a fact. It's a useless fact, and of far less value than my OPINION that OSX is MORE stable for most people. So which do you want, my fact or my opinion?
You said "Working with Windows support staff has shown me they have no idea about setting up, using, or maintaining a Mac and often blame the Mac for their own shortcomings (read "ignorance of the platform"). They live in their Windows world and (usually) don't want to learn or know of anything else... sounds like you." Gee, sounds like an opinion to me...and that goes both ways, buddy. Learn to use a PC CORRECTLY and you may discover that we don't have most of the problems you think we do. But I guess you "don't want to learn or know of anything else..."

Another issue raised by your comments; I have read countless times in these forums that OSX is "intuitive", so which way do you want it, fanboy? Is it easy, or do I have to learn a bunch of stuff before it works correctly for me? Again, you're spouting opinion.

Then you raise the good old argument, that Mac has better, "quality, ease-of-use, seamless operation and (in comparison to Windows) relatively lower maintenance of the Mac."
Again, your opinion. It may be a shared opinion, but it is an opinion nonetheless. I am sure I can get a few shared opinions regarding your own lineage and breeding habits, but that doesn't make them valid OR true, so quit trying to pawn off YOUR opinions as any better or closer to the truth than anyone else's. Especially in light of the MacPro heat issues. Better quality and lower maintenance costs my bum.
