.. is a bunch of provincialist assumptions from comment writers. All of the third world is starving. All of their governments are corrupt. All of their people are illiterate. All the populace are more consumed with filling their bellies than filling their children's minds. Do you people just watch CNN or do you actually research living conditions on the other 90% of the globe! Just makes sick.
There is a good portion of the third world that has no current war, no current famine, but great amounts of poverty and an educated populace: Kyrgystan, Afghanistan, most of the Asian subcontinent, vast portions of sub-Saharan Africa, a good deal of South America.
