No matter how good these laptops might be, I don't see how a program like this can succeed. If these countries weren't profoundly corrupt, the people could buy the laptops for themselves. Also, if you give someone something they will never value it. Instead of a govt freebie program, they should sell these for $100 to those who can raise the money.
