article on this was what spawned the whole 'GOD' debate before but never got anyone to give really valid opinions on it. Some people were of the whole gove them food instead of things they don't know how to use group. And some were of the teach them to fish and they will eat forever group.

I don't know which I fit into myself. I'm of the opinion that the systems could be a good idea for these people once they aren't dying of hunger. It is hard to learn something and pay attention to what people are telling you when you are distracting by a growling stomach.

I still believe this is a good idea (the laptop for every child thing) BUT did anyone bother to ask these people what THEY wanted or did everyone just presume to know what they want and tell them?
