Why does TiVo keep making these "deals" instead of improving their product?
Why don't they make a TiVo with a good OTA (ATSC) and cable (QAM) receiver for digital and HDTV signals? Why don't they make one with a CD-RW burner that can save shows as SVCD disks? I read they're making one with a DVD burner, but I've never seen one in stores.
Instead, they're spending their efforts "improving" their service by canceling the Lifetime Subscription deal.
Wake Up TiVo! Focus on your customers. You don't work for the broadcast companies or the movie companies. You've squandered all the good will you got by putting out a great product five years ago.
