I mean about MACs having good customer service?

Yeah, right!!

First of all, as a tech for a local college we have to deal with both Apple AND Dell...

Let me tell you that trying to get support from Apple is like pulling teeth from a lion! They try to bite you every chance they get!

But Dell having POOR support? NOT!!

From India?!?! Well, most of the folks I talk to in tech support are in TEXAS, not India!

Sure, they have 'outsourced' quite a bit... SO DOES APPLE!!!

In fact when it's time to get an apple fixed, we either have to 'bring it in' or, if we can convince them to show up onsite, they send a technician out from IBM!?!?! What a crackup!!

If it were up to me, we would replace ALL the MACs we have on campus with Dells (or some other PC). No sense paying twice as much for a product that isn't any better (imo).
