BullS**t
Complete and utter BS. While there may be some point to Apple's having not done a thorough investigation internally the fact remains that the person who wrote the story to begin with didn't either. Also the fact that it could be construed as information that Apple can consider trade secrets. A court of law should not be able to determin what Apple considers trade secrets or not. Even if it is just an upgrade to a certain type of product that is already on the market. It is Apple's product and they did not give this person permission to release this information to anyone. This person broke a NDA and that in itself is both illegal and immoral and it doesn't seem that the judge took that into account.
