Like everything in life it depends......
In general I would agree with you. But the difference in price
between a Mac and PC has changed considerably in the past
years. Heck on occasion Mac's like their iBooks or even
Powerbookss win one. As I keep saying if a business finds itself
already using both Mac's and PC's why not? If a buisness has
been considereing using Mac's in the past but hesitated because
purchasing Mac's meant an all or nothing solution it either
worked for them or they wasted a lot of money on equipent they
could not use. Now that haschanged the hardware at least can
be used even if the find OSX is not going to fit.

Let's also consider some simple but kind of key issues like desk
space. If you already buy Mac's and PC's then the added cost of
purchasing a PC (since you already purchase Mac's could be
saved and depending on how many PC's you buy that alone
could be HUGE!)

Yes in general I would agree that a system that does ONE thing
very well is preferable to a jackk of all trades...master of none
but should'nt we give Apple and the rest who are working on
this time to prove that they can do it all well?

After all remember what the vast majority of PC's do in the
buisness world email, word processing, spread sheets, database
entry hardly takes a killer AlienWare PC to accoomplish.
