A very reasonable assumption.
It's obiviously very too early to tell, but Apple does have some exciting enterprise products that are very price competitive. Especially their XServe servers, nodes, and RAID systems. Interestingly, price per performance, Apple is a clear leader in enterprise.

I think the Intel move is equally important psychologically for the pointy haird bosses and ignorant IT "professionals." Just knowing that you have the ability to run Windows only applications on an arguably more stable and secure platform is comforting.

I can tell you from professional experience that managing hundreds of Macintoshes is a lot, lot, easier than trying to manage hundreds of Windows PCs. Having a single image for 4 generations of Macintoshes doesn't get any easier. Having 6 different images for even the same year machines, but with different configurations, is so horribly redundant and time consuming.
