re: external hd
We are talking about HiDef. format.. so how long would it take you to download 10-15GB movie using 5Mb/s?
And since it's on-Demand, we (consumers) will be under no less scrutiny of DRM then anyone using HD/BD DVD.
And what do you do to those movies after you are done watching it? Some people tend to have movie collections.. So how many movies can you have on hard drive?
Lets not forget backups... I had my share of hd's failures... (U can always scratch an optical disk (dvd, hd dvd, bd dvd, whatever) but it's still 1 disc, not 20-30 movies gone in one instance...

You can only dream about "buy once, download anytime, anywhere, as many time as you want" This will never happen.

P.S. Do not get me wrong, I am not a proponent of HD/BD DVD happy I plan to stay away until both camps choke each other.
