I agree, mostly
I wouldn't say mundane at all. Bluetooth does have a very good place in various technologies, however, for this, I have to agree that it's a rather bad idea. The easiest way to put it is it's slow, and in ssssllllooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I use it every day with my phone either with a headset or for transferring crappy pictures, but for any decent quality image it would just be unbearable. WiFi would be much more appropriate for its speed. Also taken into account could be that a device such as a phone would generally also have a camera for sending small pictures, and it would be unable to handle a large quality picture. A laptop or PDA with WiFi, though, would be much more viable route.
