Yeah I had both

But now I've got 2 PS/2s for the kids. They just started using the
PS2 all the time (vastly broader set of titles).

I had Halo2 and Xbox live for a while. It was good, but not really
my taste in games. (after a while, got bored). I did wonder if it
was worth keeping the XBox, but when the 360 came out, and
not much older stuff ran on it, I figured I ought to get the
maximum money back from the Xbox before it became
worthless.

If I had infinite money, I'd probably get an XBox 360, but it's
titles are a bit uninspiring to me at the moment.

I guess if I had infinite money, I'd also get a $5000 top of the
range gamerPC with 30 inch LCD, or 37 inch HD TV LCD.

The Macs in my house average 1 gig ram, the PCs are more like
512 meg average (i've got lots of kids), so I guess I'm not doing
too badly anyway.
Truth is, I lust over 37 inch LCD HD TV panels, and yet watch
very little TV.... The PCs and Macs are used a lot (for internet).
The PS2s sometimes get used a lot, sometimes sit there for a
while.

I think gaming is changing a lot. The kids much prefer online
shock games to anything preinstalled even if the preinstalled
stuff is graphically better, the online stuff is "fun", and there are
infinite amounts of it.

I was also shocked by the vastness of the java games market for
mobile phones. Wow!
