So all cars should be limited to 45 MPH?
Or, since most accidents actually occur at under 30 in residential areas, maybe we should make the speed limit in front of your house 65, to beat that statistic?
I agree with most of your stuff here, the cigarette folks OWN Washington. Though I'd much rather have cigarette smokers driving next to me on the freeway than pot smokers, so don't get that started.

But limiting the max of things is silly. No ladders over three feet tall to eliminate falling off? No stoves able to produce a flame, or heat over 102 degrees to avoid burns in the home? Losing one's hearing doesn't happen because the machine has the ability to get loud, it happens because the user has an INability to determine when it is too loud, and turn it down. And I say tough. I have loved loud music my whole life, I own over 10K in home stereo equipment, and I will turn it up when I want to. But I am not stupid enough to do it long enough or loud enough to hurt my ears. And if they ARE stupid enough, then that is their problem. They caused the damage by turning the knob to the right, as we used to say when all stereos had a knob. They can deal with the results.

BTW, love the "shouting in the courtroom!" Hearing loss, shouting, too funny!
