While I agree a little
I gotta say the part about not competing on merit is a little too fanboy.

What does MS make to compete with the iPod? Nothing.

Does MS compete with Apple anywhere else? In OS's, right? Well, they may not compete on merit, but by every other measure out there, they are competing pretty well, judging by the dollars each side is pulling in. If I were competing and had over 80% of the possible points, I'd be pretty happy with it.

But I still agree that MS probably is involved in this somewhere; and if they are, it seems like a pretty sleazy way to do business.

Note that this whole suit is about the POTENTIAL for hearing loss? Maybe Apple could sue MS on the POTENTIAL for allowing major computer virus outbreaks, system shutdowns, and loss of profits?

The whole thing just makes me sick. If Apple would let me install OSX on a PC of my choosing, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
