Oh, they don't need an excuse for that.
They are Microsoft. They can drop any features they want. And
they can still charge their idiot customers the same price. Their
customers have no recourse. Microsoft has them by the balls.

Wouldn't it be great to be in a business where you could fail
massively and repeatedly and still make billions every year?

And if more successful companies come along you can either
buy them, sue them, or "cut off their air supply."

What a racket. There really ought to be a law. Oh, wait. There IS
a law!
