Maybe the USA will....
extend patents so foreign countries have to pay more for drugs instead of releasing the patents so other countries can make generics. Generics that many times are not as good as the original which is why the FDA doesn't approve drugs being bought from other countries. The USA isn't worried about China....if the USA stops buying the cheap China products, China's GDP will become negative. Stop outsourcing to India and the same would happen. Canada only prospers because they do not worry about having a military because of the USA being its neighbor.
If the USA stopped being generous to other countries....many of them would be hurting financially. When the USA citizens start feeling a financial pinch, those same citizens will stop giving to charaties and the rest of the world will suffer.
