I totally agree with what you are saying. However the executive officers are the ones with the greed. Trying to get as much money as they possibly can. Do you for one instant think that the CEO of ANY Fortune 500 company cares about their people? Of course not. They didn't get to the top by caring for other people.

Steve Jobs for example use to make his engineers and programmers work 7 days a week and yell and scream at them when they would take a break or fall asleep at their desk cause he was over working them.

As for people taking a pay cut and benefit cut, any red-blooded american would LOVE to take a pay cut instead of loosing their job. Lets see...Less money, or no money at all? Yeah I thought so.

Of course this business model works the best. Because the CEO and other executive officers see the most benefit from it. After all, they have to find a way to pay for their 3 million dollar lear jet.
