Apple employees?

The one problem I have had with call centers in India is that they
are run by third party companies who want to get you off the
phone as fast as possible. Short calls mean more profits.

I suffered through this will Dell a few years back and was
basically told (1) I had been using my computer for a while and it
was loaded with a lot of programs & data (it wasn't) and (2) I
needed to reinstall XP. I had been using a Mac PowerBook for
business travel and the Dell in the office, but after the second
reinstall in a week I bought an Accounting app for the Mac and
dumped the Dell - which Dell's customer service in India never
did get fixed.

I believe that Apple recognizes this problem and will use their
own employees whose job will be to take care of the customer -
just like the other support centers. Dell was exceptionally good
before they moved to India and I have a feeling that Apple
doesn't want to repeat the Dell experience.
