You get what you pay for

Let's put it this way -- Computers are quickly becoming a commodity, and prices are falling to the point that companies are changing strategies to make money on services, rather than the actual hardware.

So long as we want Wal-Mart priced computes, it's quite illogical to expect top-notch call centers. If you want the patient, hand-holding style call centers, then pay top dollar for the expensive service plans.
