the Origami Personal Communicator namesake rises again! How odd!
another communicator devie arises with the same name as before.....

Origami Personal Communicator from chipmaker National Semiconductor. the Origami device built by National Semiconductor that was on display at Comdex 2001. They were supposed to be on the market by 2002, but never went into production.
