If the price of disk space in the Terrabytes ever came down low enough for mere mortals then you might have something.

Think about a box where you load you movies off DVD on to it's harddrives. From there you have menu to display you movies in a database to for easy selection and playablity.

The price would have to be less than $1000 but if it was there would be demand. Especially if you could keep adding harddrive units to it.

You'd need something to protect the content of course. Can't have harddrive filled with movies going every where. So some sort of system would have to be devised. Not sure what but it would have to seemless to the user.
