Seriously though
The article makes mention of how many trees of paper, how many truckloads of books, blah blah... But it's not text documents or even databases that are driving the requirement for more space on a single unit, it's the video. Now I think I've heard mention that you deal with video, so I can see how you would welcome more space at a cheap price. For a guy like me who works for a small company and deals with mostly documents, spreadsheets, and and databases (the biggest is just under 20 GB), speed is much more important than size. For programmers speed would be more important too.

So the question is how much of a market is there for 8 TB drives. Is the video market that big, or is it considered a niche?
