Brilliant! No more idea piracy allowed. Patents should automatically expire after two years if the patent holder cannot prove that it has made significant strides in developing its patented idea.

Now get out there an buy a Blackberry! (No, I don't work for RIM, but their legal expenses surrounding this issue must be enormous, and they offer a decent product in my personal opinion. My boss has one, and it keeps him off my back.)
