That's why I buy pro/broadcast Sony gear, not consumer
And it's clear to see why. Their broadcast equipment is made without compromise. Something which used to be the foundation of their consumer gear as well but we all know that such foundations no longer exist in the consumer domain.

Still, they've made one positive move with their HiMD by removing their crappy DRM from SonicStage. That's a plus and hopefully, if they keep this up, maybe the consumer gear will come back in line with the quality of their pro gear.

It seems to me like the engineers are slowly starting to push the lawyers out of the design process. I applaud it and await a brighter future from Sony once again.
