What's to prove wrong? You made a snide remark based on no information or facts...one way or the other. It's not even an arguement.
When StevoCJ suggested that I had been proven wrong, I just had to bite, I'm weak that way.
Of course you are 100% correct, there was nothing to prove me wrong about which is what makes StevoCJ's comment even funnier. 
I'm still not sure what your motivation here is.....If you don't like Macs, iPods, OSX or Apple/Jobs then save yourself the irritation and
move on
No irritation here, only amusement that MS's vaporware announcments attract a very different category of reaction than Apple's vaporware announcments. Both are silly in my opinion, it is the people's response that I find highly amusing.
And why don't I move on? To be honest, because I learn a lot from you Mac heads, mostly from tic who, by and large, is a great contributor to ZDNet. I will also say that I think the iPod is the best purpose built portable music player, iTunes is the best media player for XP, and OSX is the best home OS for 80% of the general public. I will unabashedly admit to not liking Apple's business practices but that's okay, they seem to be doing just fine without my approval.
