Now, in similar circumstance

differing in that I've seen few Window glitches, but a small number of Dell missteps, with faulty power cords, below par power supplies and the dread amber flashing light, sudden keyboard death, and as far as OSes go, have had a harder time getting Fedora Linux and Mandrake to play well with the BIOS, the soundcard, and video on Dell desktops and worst with the CPi and C800 Latitudes than ever with Windows. To each their own mileage.

And Dell handily beat the machines we replaced, Gateway (to hell), which had a PC breakdown ever other week and a logbook full of tech calls for the same dead monitor/video issues and harddrive failures. And the BSODs, but early on, we noted that it was video drivers that through the most of those . .
