Oh this is getting good
Compared to some yes I am new around here, compared to others I am not. And my beginning statement may not have been worded correctly so I will clarify that. When I said you are not in highschool anymore, I meant exactly that, you are not in highschool anymore so knock it off. And following that I did say or are you, but I also followed that up with the fact that I couldn't be sure because I do not know how old you are so theoretically you COULD still be in high school if you are 18 or younger and that is precisely how I meant it to be taken. Meaning (just so I do not have to post this explanation again) that if you are over the age of 18 and out of high school then knock it off because you are not in high school anymore. If you are still in high school then show some respect for those that are older than you.
That being said let me continue with:
>Most of us remember a time, not too long ago, when Rockhead spelled it "linsux." And if you think that he has changed his spots, I have some Death Valley rainforest property in which you probably would be interested.< And YOU may be right, he may have said that in the past and if so, no I did not see it. And no, I don't particularly care for Linux. But then again, half the time I don't really care for Microsoft either. As for the whole Death Valley rainforest property comment..... ha ha. Actually I got a chuckle out of that so whatever.
>A word of caution: you agree with Axey this day, but Lord help you the day you find some reason to NOT agree with him.<
And if that day ever comes and he resorts to mudslinging of any nature I will remind him of this whole thread if I have to. (You know that day could have already come and if so I son't remember it, or was it Anton I had a disagreement with?)
>I will respect Rockhead's opinion when he DOESN'T attempt to speak for me, or MY opinion, with comments like "Either way this is bad for linux, good for the rest of us" and "linux dying makes the rest of (us) happy."<
I will agree with you there, he probably could have replaced the US in those phrases with ME instead but still, the whole he did it so I am going to do it back thing... well I think you get the point there.....
>Fair enough?<
Well sure........and I know that I am sticking up for someone (or it may seem like I am anyway) when it really isn't my place)but that tends to be in my nature sometimes.
