remote DRM?
There may be a way ... if the DRM requested authorization from an internet based service for authentication -- thus hiding the key generation software. Something like Microsoft's "phone home" authorization.

Please remember that I migrated from Windows 2000 to Linux because I didn't like Windows XP's phone home scheme.
