- Apple made some major moves
-
Beating the deadline by half a year is no mean feat and it's going
to impress Wall Street a lot.
We'll have to see how the new iMac and MacBook Pro stand up to
similarly priced offerings from Dell and HP, but I think they will
hold their own with the same specs.
The secret sauce for many will be iLife, which has a huge
upgrade. COnsumers considering "switching" to a Mac will be
impressed with a knowledgeable demo of iLife and Front Row.
It's time some of the other OEMs worked on some suites
themselves - it's clear that proprietary suites like iLife can sell
computers.
Give some time for the dust to settle, comparisons to be made
and long back orders to develop. We'll get a better picture at
that time and I think it will be an impressive one. - Posted by: Ken_z Posted on: 01/10/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
