Thinkpad is dead in my mind....
The Thinkpad was always a frontrunner for my laptop purchases, but since being sold to a Chinese company, I will no longer consider them. I simply will not buy products from Chinese companies if at all possible, due to their human rights abuses. Not to mention that this was a big sell-out by IBM. Yes, I'm aware that many parts are made abroad anyway. But some Asian countries at least have a modicum of freedom and human rights compared to China. Bad on ya, IBM. And sorry, Lenovo - you can buy product rights, but not customers.
