Get VICE: a C64 emulator
Get VICE = A Commodore 64 emulator that runs on Windows or Linux

The Linux version is included with some Linux distributions

Download here: http://www.viceteam.org

Then go to http://www.lemon64.com/ and download your old favorite game images.

Kind of neat to open a Linux console window, type x64 and see the old C64 window pop-up and a blinking READY prompt.
