No Microsoft OS is suitable for this type of device
SYMBIAN is the only OS with the characteristics which adequately address the power/size-weight/performance requirements for a pocket-portable computer which is optimum for communicator/computer/PDA use. Microsoft has never demonstrated comprehension of, or competence in this area. I don't believe it is compatible with their corporate culture.
The primary enemy of pocket devices is power consumption; the core competency of the Psion EPOC OS from which Symbian OS derives. The cell phone designers who formed the Symbian consortium recognize this. Why do pocket PC manufacturers ignore this OS, and continue to attempt to force-fit Microsoft's bloated product into these applications?
