Until some gaming site is setup that lets the "Hulk" rape a female character, or "Superman" rip the arms and legs off another character.
I'm sure DC, Dark Horse and the rest are just as strict when it comes to their merchendise, too.
Though on the flip side, with all the multiple characters, changes to the character's customes over the years, and what not, it's gotta be pretty hard to design a custome that hasn't already been done somewhere else, or at some other time in some character's developement.
