History repeats
This happened to books, movies, TV, music, comics, magazines, and now Video games. The argument each time is exactly the same. Funny how history repeats multiple time of the past several hundred years.

The funny thing with statistics is you can make them say what ever you want. Look statistics say youth crime is up but that's easy to change. If the mean average is down switch to a mode average as see if the comparison to last years mean average is more. If so use the mode average stats.

The thing I see as the problem these days is society has done everything to take away anything fun a kid can do. So what's left? Violence? I've seen laws against having fun. Kids can't climb trees, merry go rounds with brakes, locked up parks, no swimming holes and such. Then they turn to the virtual world and everyone cries obesity and obscenity. Well we as society made our bed and a few laws sure aren't going to fix the problem.
