This is nothing but parents wanting the government to raise their kids
If the parents do not want the kids to play the games fine, then the parents needs to take charge, and call the parents of thier kids friends and say I do not want my kid to play the game. The other parents would be very responsive in not letting them playing.

I do agree that stores should do a better job at NOT selling these types of games to kids, but the stores have no real consequences of selling these games, so why should they stop?
