Slim tube yes please !
tehcnically, thin CRT povide a better picture quality while coming close to match the reduced footprint of flat TV. For size up to 30", they are a tough nut to crack when price comes into consideration. But that is wihtout taking into account the simple fact that in Europe, you will not find high end CRT TV, let alone those with a thin tube. I guess Europeans have been chosen by manufacturers to be the ones contributing to their bottom line by offering a limited range of products : the most expensive and least (shop) space consuming ones.
