iTunes Music Store purchased music doesn't share
on a network either, unless the computer is authorized on the
ITMS. And that is even on an all-Apple network. So this must be
part of the DRM agreement that the ITMS has with the RIAA. I don't
think this is just an afront to Microsoft.

Truth be known, the two companies, while competing fiercely,
actually cooperate quite a bit on other things. And they use each
others' software (MS actually uses Macs in their print shop).
