- Any mp3 player is capable of playing any mp3 file, hence the name. The semi functional feature is on the xbox 360 dumbass because it can't play apple's itunes songs. And why can't it? Because microsoft isn't going to pay apples made for ipod tax. The xbox 360 is trying to add a cool feature that lets users replace game songs with songs they have on a mp3 player including apple's ipod.
