That's in the US or Europe
You're right in the US or Europe where goods are for the most part brought in free of duties and taxes. The problem Brazil has would be it's draconian import duties (levied to protect and stimulate domestic industry) and it's taxation structure. I do find it humorous that they gave a 9.2% tax break on taxes that approach 80%. Which might be part of the problem down there with the government rather than the people consuming the proceeds from successful businesses people rapidly lose the will to innovate and advance if when they advance it benefits others and penalizes them.
