- Anytime I hear of gov'ts getting involved, I think of collective projects in the Ukraine under Stalin. As for health care, doctors do not compete with each other and work over the government system. If the government got out of health care, it would be affordable. My grandparents could afford healthcare and they were strictly middle class. Ever notice how they lower the price when you tell them you have no insurance. As for the 2 other attributes you mentioned, it is their job defined in the constitution.
