- The changes you mentioned were dramatic improvements over old technology. Apple simply changed something that worked fine. Also on computers when the change was was made to USB, floppies and parallel ports were still there so legacy products would work. Sorry, Apple is and always has been a greedy company who doesn't really care about it's customers.
