Maker re-using just some "old" accessories and discarding or making obsolete others. Those evil doers are forcing us; the helpless consumers, to buy newer or updated version of thing we already have in the name of tech progress.

I was so happy with my serial/parallel printer, but evil forces invented USB. I loved 3 1/2 floppies again evil doers came up with Disk-on-Key.
