OK...I'm in service and have been servicing PC's for years now.

Hundred out of millions sold does not count as that much does
it? Now as for the hundreds I can assure you based on my own
experience that some of these are well not valid. Meaning there
are those who hear of a "scratch" problem and suddenly they too
have a problem. It happens all the time in my experience.

Now maybe it's the very nature of he Nano design that makes it
vulnerable to abuse? Even something as simple and usually
inane as placing it in a pocket might because of it's small size
and slim design make it more vulnerable to friction issue? I
don't know but I will say that perhaps with some more time
Apple will discover a legit issue. Perhaps another supplier who
skimped on resin or something or perhaps they'll find that you
simply must have some sort of case to hold your Nano securly in
a pocket. I don't know yet. However hundreds out of millions
still does not sound like a HUGE issue.
