Well Pete the plain fact of the matter is that neither
company see's and good in aiding the other in this battle at this
time. MS and Apple know it's who owns the software that makes
the true winner. One or the other will eventually become the
sole king of the hill and the looser with have to pay homage to
the winner. Yes in this transition phase the customer is the one
who pays the price...but that is inevitable sorry as that maybe
that is the facts jack. So far it makes no good business sense
for Apple to give up. A few years from now that might be a
different story..but for now as an Apple user, fan and stock
holder I would not want Apple to simply toss in the towel at least
YET.
