Wow, that is backwards...

Wow, you got it backwards. What do you call this...?

So, first of all, MS DOES make a version of WMP for OS X, second, MS has no access to the internals of an iPod, neither do they have access to Apple's DRM (which Apple refuses to license), which means there is NO way for them to allow you to use MWP formats on iPod. It also means there is no way for anyone else to sell you DRMed content (of any format), other than Apple themselves.

On the other hand, Apple has the option to license MS technology (just like so many other companies have done) and add that to iTunes as well as iPod, but they decide that you, as their customer, should not have that option. Once again, the decision to give you that option is squarely in Apple's court.

I can't understand how you fail to see who is to blame here. I think you have spend too much time on websites like www.MacsAreTehBestest.com, if you ask me.
