Looks like you've just failed. Clearly I can't check out any of the
other services or players, because they aren't as widespread as
Apple's, which works for both Windows and OSX.

Why should Apple be responsible for creating software
compatible with someone else's business model? The reason
none of the "Plays For Sure" stuff works for Apple is that is uses
Microsoft's DRM. Microsoft does not make a version of WMP for
the Mac that can use their DRM. Microsoft does not make a Mac
compatible version of their DRM. What is Apple supposed to do
about this?
