Several points to cover here....
A: It is not Apple's fault that they get coverage..still I will admit
that Apple does an excellent job of getting news coverage for
her products and actions. Still that is NOT a bad thing for a
business and I would argue that it is Archos and Creatives job to
try and do a better job...Not Apple's fault or her fans.

B: As for knowing if they work as well with my Mac as an Apple
products I do have history on my side but I will admit I do not
know for certain. it is at best on my part an educated guess
based on past history and the fact that Apple is VERY good at
intergrating her hadware/software solutions.

C: Good as is very subjective. I could argue that a hand n glove
existance between a limited set of features is better for me and
other consumers than a feature rich device that does not have
such a software/hardware relationship. That for me might be
fairly considered better. There is also other issues such as size,
and price that come into play and now a days Apple can often
compare quite well in the price game strangely enough. Finally
there is looks....I know many HATE that but let's face it
sometimes a product is just plain fugly. Take my original
example of the first generation Dell DJ.....:)
