Sorry Pete....I did not know of
the Archos or Creative or others offerings because they simply
do not get the press or make an attempt to tell me what they
offer. I've frankly never seen them. When Apple comes out with
something new in their product line it's RIGHT there for all to
see and it is well covered.

Now would I have purchases these other products....Probably
not. They simply do not work hand n glove like Apple products
see to do. Don't get me wrong I am a tech....I'm just a very lazy
tech and if I can do something easy.....that's my baby!!!!

Also some offering by the other guys like say the Dell DJ that
came our after the iPod were/are so UGLY and in some cases
overly LARGE that they defeat the purpose for me.
