Which is still a reasonable price considering...
$3299 is still a reasoanable price considering no other major retailer even has a dual CPU dual-core setup (Dell, Gateway, et. al.) Much less one with 16x PCI Express, optical digital auio, and support for up to 16GBs of DDR2 RAM. Apple's solution would be the equivelent (if they existed) of a dual AMD 64 X2 5400+.

Impressive desktop CPU, it's too bad IBM had no real portable solution to offer. Intel's dual-core Xeon is pretty pathetic compared to AMD 64 X2. I hope Intel has something up their sleeves for Apple because AMD sure has the superior x86 CPU at the moment.
